While Veterans Day recently passed, we found this story in the Austin American Statesman particularly moving.

Meet 63-year-old David Brown, who has lived a lifetime of difficulties after serving in some of the most violent battles in Vietnam. Brown recently became the first Vietnam-era Veteran to go through the Travis County Veterans Court in Austin, Texas. His story is one of thousands, and if nothing else, may inspire you to stop and say, “Thank you for your service,” the next time you encounter a military veteran.

To Judge Mike Denton, Jackson Glass, and the other veterans court staff members in Travis County and across the U.S., thank you for Making a Difference!

And to David Brown, we thank you for your service.
