In September over 60 of the country’s largest Community Corrections Service Providers gathered in Phoenix, Arizona, for two days of continuing education on emerging drunk driving initiatives, innovative community corrections programs, and the latest developments in alcohol and location monitoring technologies.
SCRAMCON 2015 attendees heard from leading officials from programs like North Dakota’s 24/7 Sobriety and York County, PA’s Target 25, learned about key industry trends, and engaged in hands-on workshops to expand their knowledge of high-tech monitoring tools and best practices.
The goal of the conference is to equip attendees to deliver best-in-class program development, operational services, court support, and client management to the communities and agencies they serve. These businesses represent the largest and most established network of private corrections service providers in the industry and are responsible for 15% of all electronic monitoring in the United States.
